The country where you permanently reside. This is required to ensure that you are eligible to purchasing this insurance and for insurance tax calculation.

Policy Type

We offer two policy types:

A single hire Agreement which covers one rental for up to 180 days for a car, 14 days for a van or minibus or 28 days for a motorhome or campervan.

Annual available for cars only this policy covers unlimited single rental agreements in the policy year up to 31 days each or 62 days each if the Extended Rental cover is purchased. Please note that our annual policy does not cover car hire used for business purposes.

Policy Dates

If you are purchasing a single rental agreement please select the start and expiry date. If you are purchasing an annual policy please select the start date of your policy our system will automatically calculate the expiry date.

Please note that any hire you undertake and to be covered by the policy must start and end within the policy start and expiry date.

Where do you need cover

UK means - England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, and Isle of Man.

Europe means - all countries which are members of the EEA: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. And countries to the west of the Ural Mountains, including, islands in the Mediterranean, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Canary Islands, Madeira, and the Azores.

Worldwide means - anywhere in the world apart from Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, Conga, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Myanmar, North Korea, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria and Zimbabwe. No cover is provided for claims arising as a direct result of a situation highlighted by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office where you have hired a vehicle in a specific country or area where, prior to the vehicle hire agreement commencing, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office has advised against all (but essential) travel.

Drivers

All persons to be covered under this policy are:

• Aged 21 years when renting a car or 23 or older when renting a van, minibus or motorhome/campervan.
• Hold a valid internationally recognised driving licence or permit for the hire vehicle. This must be valid in the country in which you are travelling.
• A permanent resident of the UK, Jersey, Gibraltar, Guernsey or the Isle of Man at the time of purchase of this policy.
